Baco Noir VQA

Deeply coloured, richly flavoured, and made for satisfying meals, Baco Noir VQA is an expressive Ontario red wine with a bold yet approachable character.

Deep purple-red in colour, the wine opens with intense aromas of ripe blackberries and blackcurrants. Smoky and savoury notes add complexity, while bright raspberry flavours bring freshness to the palate. Medium acidity keeps the wine balanced, and noticeable yet soft, spicy tannins create a smooth, flavourful finish.

Its combination of dark fruit, smoke, spice, and freshness makes Baco Noir an excellent choice for comforting dishes and relaxed entertaining. Pair it with slow-baked lasagna, braised beef stew, grilled burgers, spare ribs, or wood-fired pizza. It also complements roasted mushrooms, hearty lentil dishes, tomato-based pasta, and vegetable soup.
