As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with a passion for marketing to play a key role in enhancing our brand presence and communicating our story through visually compelling designs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging graphics for print and digital platforms, developing marketing collateral, and contributing to the overall marketing strategy of Pelee Island Winery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Graphic Design:
    • Design visually appealing marketing materials, including but not limited to labels, packaging, brochures, posters, and digital assets.
    • Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines in all design elements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
  2. Digital Marketing:
    • Assist in the creation and management of digital content for online platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative design concepts into digital marketing materials.
  3. Branding:
    • Contribute to the development and evolution of the Pelee Island Winery brand identity.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of our target audience and market trends to inform design decisions.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team, winemakers, sales team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between design and marketing strategies.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for various projects.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Premiere).
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media content creation.
  • Experience in photography & video content creation considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the wine industry is considered an asset.

Other Requirements

• Possess a Ontario Class G driver’s license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
