WINEMASTER'S NOTES
The grapes were harvested in mid- and late September. They matured in a traditional remontage for 14 days and finished in 5000L oak casks.

An excellent sipping wine that compliments rich stews, lamb and beef. Also, an ideal partner for barbecues and most pasta dishes.

RED-HEADED WOODPECKER
Its unmistakable red head, neck and throat, white rump, large white wing patches and white under parts make the Red-headed Woodpecker an easily identifiable bird for the thousands of birdwatchers who travel to Pelee Island each season. In fact, it is said that the Red Cedar Savannah habitat, located next to our wine pavilion on Pelee Island, is an ideal starting point for your search.
