The island is home to our vineyards and wine pavilion where several tours are available between May and October. Tours include the pavilion and a wine seminar. Monday through Friday, we offer a group package featuring a walking tour of our facility, sampling of five unique wines and a BBQ lunch.
Tour the Pavilion grounds, learn about some of the island and the winery's unique history; the reason why it's such a great place to grow grapes. The wine appreciation seminar will also give you an inside look at the process of making wine.
Knowledgeable tour guides will inform you on the historical and mechanical design of our antique European Grape Press. They also provide an overview of the fine art of corks; how they are made and why a good cork is so important to great wine. The 'Vine to Wine' process is highlighted by a video presentation in our theatre room. Finally, the Tasting Room provides guests with a sensory evaluation and appreciation of some of our best vintages.
